
Colleges & Universities in FRM
The FrankfurtRheinMain (FRM) region is an excellent place for studying or research. From economics to winemaking – with its many higher education institutions and academies, FRM offers a very wide range of high-quality degree courses, some of which are specifically geared towards international students. FRM already draws ambitious young people from all over the world.

The large state-run universities, which are well-known internationally, are in Frankfurt am Main, Darmstadt, Mainz and Gießen. In addition, there are eight state-run higher education colleges and two important art colleges in FRM. The choice is rounded off by a large number of colleges specialising in subjects such as finance or chemistry, and many private academies, music schools, theological colleges and universities that are funded publicly or privately.

The accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg (accadis University Bad Homburg), formerly known as the International Business School Bad Homburg, is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences with over 35 years of experience. The first bachelor's degrees in international business were awarded in 1993. RhainMain University has over 70 study programmes on two campuses in the ReinMain Area, and boasts an international network. The Katholische Hochschule Mainz (Catholic University of Applied Sciences Mainz) is a state-recognized university with faculties of social work, practical theology and healthcare and nursing.
