The official online launch of our new website Germany’s best place - Find it in FrankfurtRheinMain (www.find-it-in-frm.de) took place last night with a celebration in the premises of the Regional Authority FrankfurtRheinMain.

About 100 guests experienced live the count-down and followed the presentation of the website, which also included a detailed explanation of the corporate design and of the brand find-it-in-FRM.

Managing Director Mr. Ludger Stüve emphasized in his welcoming speech the acute need for international skilled professionals in the region: „The shortages of qualified professionals in FrankfurtRheinMain is now being reality and the competition for skilled labor force is steadily increasing among the regions.“ Therefore the new Welcome-portal should be the first point of information and a guide for the newcomers in the region. It bounds local and regional services and highlights them in a structured manner, so as to make it easy for specific target groups to find their way in FrankfurtRheinMain.

Head of Department, Ms. Susanna Caliendo reconstructed in her presentation the history of the new portal with all its ups and downs. The project Welcome to FrankfurtRheinMain is, in addition to the earlier celebratory signing of the Charta of Welcoming, a further milestone in the implementation of the Welcome Strategy from 2015.

Another key component of the project is the new FrankfurtRheinMain International Office that has also been officially opened at this event. This new International Office of the region manages the Welcome portal and gives individual advice for international professionals and businesses. Ms. Caliendo explained the main tasks of the Office: „promote the region for international professionals, welcoming newcomers in the region and guide them into the German system”.

Following presentation Ms. Ana-Violeta Sacaliuc and Mr. Khaled Fakha introduced themselves in a short interview as they are in charge with the FrankfurtRheinMain International Office.

Later on by gather together the guests could get familiar with the new website, relaxed networked and celebrated the new facilities.

We thank all the guests for the great event and are looking forward to working together for attracting international professionals from all over the world to our region and share with them our enthusiasm for FrankfurtRheinMain. Find Your Future in FRM!
